Steve Gillman founded Gillman & Sons in 2001. At the time he was working as a CPA at Waterhouse & Sisters, which is where he met June Smith. After many lunches over which they discussed the lack of good accounting options for small business owners, they decided to finally do something about. The embarked on their own to start a new firm with new values: to make great accounting affordable and accessible to businesses of all sizes.
Gillman & Sons has been making good on this promise for over a decade now. Using new technologies like Xero, they have created efficiencies for small businesses and cut down on time and costs for both set-up as well as ongoing financial management.
